The luncheon took on a very different format from previous award luncheons. Instead of having a dais Karen Cadle sat down one-on-one with Richard for an intimate interview spanning his youth and Hollywood Career.Richard is best known for his performances in Centennial, Shogun, The Thorn Birds and his appearance as the leading man in King Solomon’s Mines opposite newcomer Sharon Stone.

On the dais were Jo Anne Worley, Paula Salvatore, James Darren, Johnny Dark, Gustavo Borner, Ron Alexenburg and "Shotgun Tom" Kelly.Engelbert's career spanned nearly 50 years and generated sales of over 140 million records, including 64 gold albums and 23 platinum, four Grammy nominations, a Golden Globe, and stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Las Vegas Walk of Fame. He performed for the Queen of England four times and many heads of state. He's recorded everything from the most romantic ballads to movie theme songs, disco, rock, and even gospel.

Mike has been the lead singer and front man of The Beach Boys and has co-authored more than a dozen Top 10 Singles. Art LaboeFebruary 1, 2019: Radio veteran and music legend, Art Laboe, who coined and trademarked the phrase "Oldies But Goodies," is the latest recipient of the "Art Gilmore Career Achievement Award" presented by Pacific Pioneer Broadcasters. The award was announced in honor of Art's outstanding work in radio broadcasting and was held at the beautiful Airtel Plaza Hotel in Van Nuys, CA. In addition, Art was presented an updated framed version of his "Hollywood Star" by Shotgun Tom Kelly after the dais paid tribute to him. Art originally received his Hollywood Walk of Fame Star on July 17, 1981.In September 2018, at a youthful 93 years of age, Art celebrated 75 years on air as an active radio performer. This marks the longest continuous period of broadcasting service by and individual to date. Art can still be heard on his nightly syndicated radio show, "The Art Laboe Connection" on 93.5 KDAY Los Angeles.On the dais: Radio Personality, Rick Dees; Radio Research Executive, Mary Beth Garber; KDAY Morning Show Host, Jacque "Romeo" Mastin; and Stand-up Comedian & Actor, Paul Rodriguez.

The dais included: Linda Gray his co-star on "Dallas", Bill Bickley the creator of "Step by Step", his son Padraic Duffy, his son Conor Duffy, Mike Robin Executive Producer of "Major Crimes" and Suzanne Somers his co-star in "Step by Step."

The award was presented by Allen Perris at the Sportsmen's Lodge on Friday, June 1, 2018.Loni Anderson is best known for her role as the "sexy-yet-smartest-person-in-the-room receptionist" Jennifer Marlowe on the CBS hit series WKRP in Cincinnati. She received multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominations during the show's run from 1978-1982.The dais included Kate Edelman Johnson, Deidre Hall, Dierdre Hoffman (Loni's daughter), Lorna Luft and Bruce Vilanch with his alter ego Edna Turnblad.

The Associated Press calls him  "TV's best play-by-play announcer."  He is starting his 12th season on NBC's Sunday Night Football, extending his record 32 years as the voice of the NFL in prime time. The dais included: Vin Scully, Bob Miller, Joe Cohen, Rich Eisen and Chuck Henry.
